Position Overview
As an Assistant Clinical Supervisor, you will both provide and receive supervision of behavioral programing catering to the individual needs of children and adults diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, or other developmental disabilities, through in-home programming. This role is designed as an apprenticeship, in which you have the opportunity to learn how lead a clinical team, inspiring behavior change, providing compassionate service, while upholding meticulous accountability. Assistant Clinical Supervisors have demonstrated their ability to implement behavior programs based on the scientific principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). In addition to advanced education and experience, you may be asked to provide direct intervention or clinical supervision as needed on clinical cases.  As an Assistant Clinical supervisor, you will assist and learn from BCBA’s to conduct Functional Behavior Assessments, write creative and meaningful Behavior Intervention Plans, with high levels of reinforcement, keeping in mind generalization and maintenance of behaviors.  In this role, you will guide and summarize data collection and will provide structured ABA programming for Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to follow.  You will inspire the people you work with by modeling best practices for RBTs and caregivers, use errorless learning in training technicians, and collect data on RBT skill acquisition, providing immediate constructive feedback assuring the best quality ABA programs are implemented. You may attend meetings and participate in on-going trainings and professional development opportunities as we encourage our entire team to pursue life-long learning. As an accountable member of the team, all job duties are expected to be completed accurately, need little revision, completed on time and in accordance with all policies and procedures in the company manuals.

  • Ability to perform case coordination that may entail scheduling, authoring and timely submission of reports, among other responsibilities


Requirements

  • BS/BA in psychology, education, or a related field
  • Enrolled in a BACB pre-approved course sequence
  • Official transcripts of highest degree earned
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds
  • Ability to pass background/fingerprint clearance, health screenings and provide/obtain immunizations including TB, and drug testing
  • Reliable transportation, proof of valid California driver's license, safe driving record, proper auto insurance and vehicle registration
  • Experience implementing behavior programs based on ABA


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Fluent in Spanish
  • CPR certification
