​Position Overview
Clinical Supervisors have demonstrated their ability to competently provide all job duties of a behavior interventionist, in addition to advanced education and experience, and may be asked to provide direct intervention or clinical supervision as needed on clinical cases. Clinical supervisors will conduct Functional Behavior Assessments, write creative and meaningful Behavior Intervention Plans, with high levels of reinforcement, keeping in mind generalization and maintenance of behaviors. Clinical supervisors will guide and summarize data collection and will provide structured ABA programming for interventionists to follow. Clinical Supervisors will model best practices for interventionists and caregivers, use errorless learning in training interventionists, and collect data on interventionist skill acquisition, providing immediate constructive feedback assuring the best quality ABA programs are implemented. Clinical supervisors are responsible for assuring each client receives the hours of intervention and supervision contracted. Clinical supervisors will attend meetings and participate in on-going trainings and professional development opportunities. All tasks are expected to be completed accurately, need little revision, completed on time and in accordance with all policies and procedures in the company manuals.

  • Scientifically sound ability in providing Applied Behavior Analysis
  • Customer service orientation and professionalism in all interactions
  • Sound ethical judgment, decision-making, and communication skills
  • Ability to relate on a professional yet caring level with children and their families without crossing boundaries into friendships
  • Ability to provide mentorship, guidance, corrective feedback, and encouragement to clinical staff you supervise
  • Ability to write assessments including an FBA & BIP with minor edits by a BCBA
  • Ability to perform case coordination that may entail scheduling, authoring and timely submission of reports, among other responsibilities 


Requirements

  • BS/BA in Psychology, Education, or a related field
  • Enrolled in a BACB pre-approved course sequence
  • Official transcripts of highest degree earned
  • Ability to lift 35 pounds
  • Ability to pass background/fingerprint clearance, health screenings and provide/obtain immunizations including TB, and drug testing
  • Reliable transportation, proof of valid California driver's license, safe driving record, proper auto insurance and vehicle registration


Preferred Qualifications

  • Fluent in Spanish​
  • CPR certification
  • BCBA certification
